Katy Tur

 

Katherine Bear Tur was born October 26, 1983. She is an American journalist, author, and broadcast journalist. She works as a NBC News correspondent. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports. Since 2021, she hosts Katy Tur Reports. Tur has also reported for the NBC news platforms Early Today, Today, NBC Nightly News, Meet the Press, WNBC-TV, MSNBC as well as The Weather Channel.



 



 Early life



 Tur is the daughter and grandchild of journalist Zoey Tur, and Marika Gerrard. She graduated from Brentwood School in 2001 and the University of California Santa Barbara in 2005 with an undergraduate degree in Science. She's of Jewish origin.
